Villagers take part in a service to mark the re-instatement of the Milton Regis Memorial in the church yard of Holy Trinity. Only the base of the original memorial remained and a replacement in Portland Stone was finally erected as the result of a ten year project by the Royal British legion and the Sittingbourne and Milton Regis Council with the aid of a private £15,000 donation. Currently, only the names of WW I fallen are engraved but it is hoped WWII fallen will be added when funds are available.
